Kathy's Garden

As you might imagine, my garden is full of flowers, blooming from the early spring until the late fall, including the blooms of various vegetables. I love a surprise, and will plant a seed just to see what the flower will look like. The best surprise so far are the flowers of the gourd plant, which look like they come from outer space! I paint pictures of vegetable blooms, because most people don't think about the blooms on vegetables. The snow pea blossoms pictured in the paintings here are only the size of your thumb, but the details evidence great shapes and colors.
